Analysis of Two Websites
Community of Practice Proposal
Following our website evaluation, we were prompted to sign up for 2 social media sites that we haven't been apart of yet. The goal in mind was to find out any learning benefits and personal growth possibilities after being apart of the platform for about a month. I chose Threads and Reddit as my two platforms to sign up for.
To summarize what I wrote in my response, Reddit showed many possibilities to network and navigate through their beginner friendly layout and easy to use pages. Your able to find your place pretty quickly through "subreddits" and can familiarize yourself pretty quickly with communities. Threads on the other hand, was pretty barren and didn't present itself with many opportunities, in comparison to Reddit at least. Main takeaway is how technology has granted us so much access to being able to communicate and network yourself.
